Residents in Port Hardy and Port McNeill can now take advantage of newly available high-speed Internet from TELUS.
Spokesperson Liz Sauvé says the packages are the fastest in Western Canada. She notes the high-speeds will have a huge impact on local businesses.
“Now businesses are able to compete globally and do everything from video conferencing to connecting with potential customers whether it’s throughout the Island, throughout BC or even outside of Canada.”
SauvĂ© adds the new packages will also have benefits at the residential level. “For those Netflix lovers out there, you can stream more than 300 hours of Netflix every month without any buffering or delays.”
