Hwy 19 maintenance work to start on Monday

PORT MCNEILL, BC – Drivers should expect some delays this week.

In a release, Mainroad North Island Contracting said they will be doing some road maintenance work along Hwy 19.

Crews will be performing road brushing work from 7:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. at Beaver Cove Junction in Port McNeill.

The work is scheduled to start on Monday April 29th and last until Friday May 3rd.

There will be delays during work hours. Single lane alternating traffic control will be implemented while work continues.
