NIC Stregthens Partnership with UVic

North Island College has strengthened its partnership with the University of Victoria.

The agreement allows students to start their degree at NIC and then transition to UVic for their final two years.

College Spokesperson Lisa Domae says having the guarenteed spot at UVic takes a lot of the stress out of transferring schools.

The program has also proved popular with the University of Victoria.

Domae notes they have received very positive feedback on the students that have participated in the transfer program.

The expanded agreement now includes fine arts degree pathways, in addition to arts and science degrees.

More information on NIC’s partnership programs is available at www.nic.bc.ca/programs/university_partnerships/.
