19 Wing Comox Commander on the meaning of Remembrance Day

Today is Remembrance Day. It’s a time to reflect on the efforts of our veterans, past and present, who serve Canada and ensure the safety of our nation.

19 Wing Comox Commander Colonel Tom Dunne says it is not a day to be ignored.

Dunne says it’s very important to pass along the meaning of Remembrance Day to today’s youth, and to take a moment to honour veterans and their heroic efforts in keeping Canada safe.

Ceremonies have and will be taking place across the country today to celebrate the lives of Canadian soldiers.
