Rachel Blaney Takes the Oath

Blaney officially took her seat in the House of Commons as Member of Parliament for North Island-Powell River yesterday afternoon.
Blaney says they had parliamentary training today with over 200 people, and then she took her oath, signed the book, and joined her name to many others who served the country.

Blaney says she is honored to serve her riding and was accompanied at the ceremony by her husband, Darren Blaney.
