NDP MP for North Island-Powell River Rachel Blaney is travelling the North Island.
Her group has been going all the way from Alert Bay, to Port Hardy, Port McNeil and Port Alice.
Blaney says it’s been amazing to get out into the community and talk about the federal issues that are affecting people and how communities can work together in a good way towards the future.
Blaney says it’s about building those connections and working in a positive and meaningful way.
