Some Tahsis residents asked to prepare drinking water after watermain break

Residents of Tahsis between the Tahsis Healthcare Centre and Tootouch are being asked to prepare water for drinking and flushing.

According to an alert from the Alertable app, this is because a watermain broke Tuesday morning. The village says water will be turned off while the repair is being done.

They add this will remain in effect until the break is repaired, but they expect water to return tomorrow at 4 p.m.

You are asked to follow the directions of local authorities, prepare water from drinking and flushing and not call 911 for updates.
