Wolf Adivsory in Cape Scott Provincial Park

If you’re heading to Cape Scott Provincial Park this weekend, keep in mind there’s a wolf advisory.The advisory notes pets are not allowed in the park to prevent confrontations between wolves and domestic dogs.

Project manager Ben McGibbon says wolves have frequently been spotted, but they haven’t caused any harm to humans.

He says if you confront a wolf, make a lot of noise, and give it time to clear out of the area.

To ensure the safety of people, domestic dogs, and the wolves, the ban was put on in the park.
