52 per cent of NDP delegates voted Sunday morning to elect a new leader.
Before the votes were casts at the Edmonton convention, NDP former leader Tom Mulcair says as social democrats, they understand that they’re are all in this together.
Mulcair added after the vote that the most important thing is they leave here united.
The NDPs will ahve 24 months to elect a new leader.
