Spring Clean Up in Alert Bay

The spring clean up is coming up this Monday starting at 8 a.m. in Alert Bay.

Public Work foreman Dave Leslie says they’re picking up everything except construction waste, such as windows, doors, and carpet.

Leslie says all you have to do is put it on the end of your driveway and they’ll come get it.

The volume limit for each resident is one pick-up truck load, as well as any small or loose items must be in a waterproof bag, or container.
