GoByBike BC Society to have new executive director, from Port Hardy

GoByBike BC Society will have a new executive director after she spent three years with the District of Port Hardy.

Tanya Kaul served as the district’s director of Recreation and Community Services. They add she played a pivotal role in enhancing recreational opportunities and community services across the North Island.

Highlights of her career include:

  • Introduction of a quarterly recreation guide, which improved community engagement 
  • Successful implementation of an online booking and tracking system, streamlining the registration process for participants 
  • Increased accessibility to recreation programming, allowing individuals of all ages and backgrounds to benefit 

The district adds they express their gratitude for Kaul’s contributions.

“The impact of her work will be felt for years to come, and we are grateful for the positive changes she has brought to our organization, community and the North Island,” said the district.
