Filomi Days has many events going on this year for Port Hardy’s 50th anniversary.
Head organizer Debbie Perkovich says there will be live bands throughout the weekend, a kids fishing derby, a boat building contest, as well as a skateboard competition.
She says their still looking for many volunteers for all events.
Perkovich adds, if you would like to take part in the parade, there is always an opportunity for that as well.
