New restaurant, gas station coming soon to Coal Harbour

Coal Harbour on the North Island is ready to welcome visitors this summer, with a new restaurant opening this month and a gas station coming soon.

The Quatsino First Nation’s economic development corporation is holding a soft opening for the Hoyalas Landing restaurant on Saturday. All are welcome to visit and try out the seasonal menu, and meet the staff. The restaurant is at 351 Coal Harbour Road.

Next week is the official groundbreaking for the nation’s gas station on May 8 starting at 12 pm, with prayers, a welcome dance, and speeches. The business is at 305 Quattishe Road.

The official grand opening for the Hoyalas Landing restaurant will be on Saturday May 11, with prayer and speeches, welcome dance, and the formal ribbon-cutting, starting at noon.
