Garbage pick-up now weekly; free drop-offs also available this week

If you haven’t done your spring cleaning yet now’s a great time with weekly garbage pickup starting Monday in Port Hardy.

From May 6 until October 25, village residents can get curbside pickup each week, for one can per week. Recycling pickups will continue every other week.

And if you have a lot of stuff to get rid of, starting on Tuesday May 7 you can drop it off for free at Fox’s Disposal, at the Tacan site on Steel Road. Free drop-off is available until May 11.
