Tax Scams Continue

RCMP across the Island are warning residents of a new version of the C-R-A scam.
The caller claims to be with the Canada Revenue Agency – and informs you that you have not paid your taxes.
They then threaten to issue an arrest warrant if you do not send them money.
RCMP Corporal Krista Hobday says this is not how the CRA works.
If you receive a call, you can report it to the Canadian Anti- Fraud centre.
If you believe you are a victim of one of these scams, you should report it to your local RCMP.
