Search and Rescue responds to missing fisher

Nine members of the Campbell River Search and Rescue responded to a call early Saturday morning.
Manager Tim Fairbank says a 74-year old male was reported overdue from an afternoon fishing trip to Amor Lake.
Fairbank says the search was good because they found their subject and all he needed was a little warming up and food, while preparing plans to return back to his truck.
He adds this is a good reminder to everyone heading out this coming season.
Details on how to be prepared can be found on the Campbell River Search and Rescue website.
