Party celebrating Port Hardy Pool’s re-opening set for Sunday

You can celebrate the re-opening of the Port Hardy Pool through a party this weekend.

According to Port Hardy Recreation, the party comes after the pool was officially re-opened to the public on June 17, making it the first time people have been able to enjoy the pool in three years.

The pool had to be closed for renovations and repairs.

The event will have a pool tour, followed by a welcome speech, pickleball and other games.

They say parental supervision is required for the event.

Party runs from noon to 2 p.m. on Sunday.
