Fire Crews Respond to Blaze

Fire crews are continuing to patrol a fire area behind Mayors Way.

A fire broke out Wednesday evening.

Deputy Fire Chief Brent Borg says they were called out to a report of smoke behind the townsite.

Borg says crews will continue to patrol the area for the next few days, looking for hot spots.

He says it’s a good reminder of how dry it is out there and the importance of being extremely careful with all your outdoor activities.
