Port Hardy volunteer awards now open for voting

There’s still time to nominate your picks for the annual volunteer appreciation awards in Port Hardy.

It’s a chance to recognize deserving sports coaches, emergency response heroes, youth, seniors, and other community volunteers.

There is also a category for Environmental Hero, recognizing people and organizations that protect the environment and help animals. And there’s a category for Outstanding Community Organization, to recognize groups that make a positive impact on the Port Hardy community.

The district says the region thrives on the energy and commitment of volunteers, who are crucial in promoting a healthy and sustainable lifestyle, offering their time and skills to initiatives that benefit everyone.

Voting is open until September 15, visit the District of Port Hardy’s website to see all the nominations, and choose your nominations
