Slow Down on the Roads

North Island Traffic Services is asking drivers to pay attention and slow down in construction zones.
Corporal Scott Rennie says during a recent enforcement blitz in a construction zone, police caught 22 drivers in three hours not obeying the reduced speed limit.
Rennie says drivers often underestimate how much danger they put road workers in by not slowing down.
