North Island College has received funding to help workers affected by the mine shut downs in Campbell River.
Regional Director of Continuing Education and Training Spokesperson Lynne MacFadgen says two programs are being offered.
One program will focus on providing job skills for older workers, while the other offers several options to support workers looking to transition to another industry.
