Time Capsule Opening

The Mount Waddington Regional District is celebrating their 50th birthday and will be opening their 25 year old time capsule.

Administrator Greg Fletcher says the regional board decided to create a capsule every 25 years, and this one was placed in a chamber 25 years ago June 13, 1991.

Fletcher says there are a number of items in the capsule such as a letter from the MP at the time, who will be at the celebration to read it out.

The ceremony is Monday at 11:30 a.m. at the Regional District office along with a BBQ.
