Resurfacing to Highway 28

Highway 28 near Buttle Narrows will be getting some upgrades this summer.

The province of BC will be putting 3.3 million dollars towards resurfacing the highway between Campbell River and Gold River.

Vancouver Island District Manager Janelle Erwin says there might be lane closures during this work, so it’s important to know what’s going on.

Erwin says all the work will mostly take place during the summer, and be done before the fall.
