Canine TikTok star now calls Vancouver Island home

A rescue dog with more than a million followers on TikTok is Vancouver Island’s newest resident celebrity.

Best Boy Brodie and his owners now live on the central Island, after recently moving here from Alberta. Brodie became a social media sensation for his Picasso painting-like looks, and of course, cute dog behaviour.

When Brodie was only a two-week-old puppy, his mother bit his face, causing serious injuries. As he healed, he developed his signature looks, with a bent snout and mis-matched eyes.

He was rescued by Amanda Richter and now lives with her and her partner, and other canine friends. He is loved by millions worldwide, and is living his best life as an animal celebrity.

You can follow him at @bestboybrodie on TikTok.
