Port Hardy Recreation launches new season of Skate-In Movie Nights

Port Hardy Recreation will be hosting its first Skate-In Cinema this weekend, the first of a whole year of fun planned for all ages.

Thanks to help from community sponsors, the rec centre now has a movie licence to show movies while people skate, and it’s good for a full year.

The first even features the film The Wild Robot, and runs on Sunday January 12 from 3:30 to 5 pm. Admission is $8, that includes two slices of pizza and a drink.

The Skate-In Cinema events are possible thanks to Nimmo Bay, Rotary, Keltic Seafoods, K’awat’si Economic Development Corporation and Pacific Seafood.
