The loan authorization bylaw for the new multiplex has come before council.
Mayor Hank Bood says it’s a prerequisite before the district can apply for funding.
Bood says they’ve asked for more than they need so they have some flexibility.
Bood says voters will know the exact dollar figure when the project goes to referendum for approval.
The project will go to referendum in the fall.
