Port Hardy has received grant funding for a mural project.
The district is receiving $38,000 from the Canada 150 Fund.
Councillor Pat Corbett-Labatt says the murals will depict first nations history and will be located at the civic centre.

Corbett-Labatt says the team will be meeting later this month to figure out a timeline for having the murals complete.
