The Living Oceans Society has reached a road block in its efforts to clean up the North West coast of the island near Cape Scott.
Executive Director Karen Wristen says they have launched a project to remove debris from the ocean which is loaded onto a barge.
She says the challenge they’ve run into is access to a tug to move the barge up the coast as the clean up progresses.
Wristen says they are hoping to start the clean-up August 14.
