Hoping to see change to laws around off road vehicles

The Village of Tahsis is hoping to see some changes to the Provincial laws around off road vehicles.
The Village has partnered with other north island communities to look at building a multi-use, off-road trail that could be used by ATV’s.
Mayor Jude Schooner says one of the challenges is the provincial off-road vehicle legislation.
Schooner says local mayors, the CAO and representatives from ATV clubs are involved in a working group at the Union of B-C Municipalities to advocate for changes to the legislation.
