North Island College getting ready for first day of classes

North Island College is reminding students to be prepared before the start of classes.

NIC spokesperson Christiana Wiens says students from the North Island are welcome to attend orientation in Campbell River to meet instructors, purchase textbooks, and join the kick-off activities.

Wiens says the Campbell River orientation on September 6th will include a market-place, a free lunch, a studying abroad seminar, as well as a budgeting seminar for all students to take part in.

She says orientation is a great way to get everything organized before the semester begins.
