Heiltsuk preparing for royal visit

A Coastal First Nation is preparing for some international attention next month.

The Duke and Duchess of Cambridge will be including Bella Bella in their tour of BC next month.

Heiltsuk First Nation Chief Marilyn Slett says it’s an opportunity to move closer to reconciliation with Canada.

The Duke and Duchess will arrive in Victoria on September 24th and will be in Bella Bella on September 26th.
