Minister visits North Island

The Minister of Community, Sport, and Cultural Development has wrapped up a tour of the North Island.

Peter Fassbender spent the week visiting communities.

He says it’s important to be able to visit individual communities and hear first-hand about the challenges and opportunities in the area.

Fassbender says the government will continue to push for initiatives that will help support economic growth, like the expansion of broad-band internet to the region.
