Port McNeill will be celebrating seniors this weekend.
The second annual barbecue lunch for seniors is taking place on Labour Day Monday.
Mayor Shirley Ackland says it’s important to take time to appreciate the work seniors have done in the community.
The town will be hosting the lunch from noon to 3 at the town hall on Monday.
