School Zones are in effect

School zones are back in effect, starting today.
Campbell River Superintendent Tom Longridge says there will be a lot of excited kids on the streets today as school gets back in session.
He’s asking all drivers to make sure you obey the school zones to keep kids safe.
Longridge says the first few weeks tend to be chaotic as everyone settles into the back to school routine.
He says it’s a good idea for parents to leave themselves a little extra time so they don’t feel rushed in the morning.
