The North Island is the next in line for fibre internet.
Port Hardy mayor Hank Bood says internet spread on the island and in B.C. has been a big focus for all governments, and slowly but surely, all the communities are getting fibre.
The fibre internet will be available for all communities on the north island to help grow local businesses and the region.
