MARS receives a donation for new education centre

The Mountainaire Avian Rescue Society has received a donation for a new education centre.
The 236 thousand dollars is coming from the Island Coastal Economic Trust.
MARS Vice-president Pearl McKenzie says education is an important component of the work that MARS does.
McKenzie says they are still fundraising for the new hospital.
They are hoping to have the new centre opened by August of next year.
