North Island trade students benefiting from new technology at NIC

Trades students across the North Island are benefiting from an investment in new technology at North Island College.

The Province has provided 187-thousand dollars, which was used to purchase new equipment for the electrician, heavy mechanical, and welding programs.

Instructor Chris Udy says having up to date equipment makes a big difference for the students in their training..

The new equipment is located at the Campbell River Campus.
