Port Hardy councillor Jessie Hemphill has attended her last council meeting.
Hemphill is stepping down from council at of the end of the month after deciding to continue her education.
She says she’ll continue her work with her consulting company while finishing her program.
Hemphill says serving on council has been a phenomenal experience and helping to create better communications between the district and community members, as well as making it easier to live in a green sustainable way.
