As many as 1200 elected officials and their staff, from 189 local governments, will be attending the annual UBCM convention that starts on Monday.
President of the Union of BC Municipalities, Al Richmond says up for debate are 177 resolutions.
The convention is also an opportunity for local elected officials to have an audience with provincial ministers and their staff.
