Mount Washington gearing up for winter

Mount Washington Alpine Resort is getting ready for winter.

Spokesperson Sheila Rivers says there’s some big improvements for this year. She notes there has been $2-million worth of improvements put in at the resort.

Rivers says one of the big purchases has been three new snow cats, which will provide excellent grooming and allow cleaning in hard to reach places. She notes they’re also getting a demo centre and an all-new rental fleet.

The mountain is targeting a December 9th opening, weather permitting. For more information on the resort, visit its official website.
