North Island College’s Aboriginal Education Advisory Council has unveiled a new logo to welcome aboriginal students to the college.
Council Chair Fran Prince says they get a lot of feedback from students about how the initiatives of the council help them with their educational journey.
Prince says the logo features the <em>Raven</em>, representing creation and transformation, and the <em>Eagle</em>, representing leadership, status, power, peace and friendship.
