Ceremonies are being held this morning to mark Remembrance Day.
Jean-Claude Parent is the Wing Chief Warrent Officer at CFB Comox. He says it’s important to remember both those that served in the past, and those that are currently serving in the forces.
Parent says Canadian Forces members are currently involved in numerous missions around the world.
Parent says there has been increasing awareness in recent years of the work that Canadian forces have done around the world, both historically and with the current missions that are underway.
