Species at Risk consultation wraps up this week

British Columbia’s public consultation on provincial species at risk wraps up this week. The consultation, which began in October, wraps up Wednesday.

The consultation is looking for ideas on new ways to protect species at risk and support activities like monitoring, research and stewardship.

You can make your comments and reply to comments on the species at risk BC website.

The Ministry of Environment will use the input received to identify priorities for new policy and programs in the months and years ahead as part of BC’s Five-Year Plan for Species at Risk.
