NVIATS preparing for opening of new Port Hardy office

The North Vancouver Island Aboriginal Training Society is getting ready to launch its new North Island Office.

The society is setting up a permanent location in Port Hardy and is holding a meet-and-greet to connect with local businesses.

Spokesperson Tawni Wilkins says it’s important that the society connects with local employers to determine where the local needs are.

The meet-and-greet is taking place at the Chamber building Wednesday, November 30th from 4 to 6:30 PM. The new office will be opening on Monday, December 5th.
