Christmas tree permits available

Permits are now available for those interested in going out and cutting their own Christmas tree.

Spokesperson Rhonda Morris says the permits are available online through the Ministry of Forest’s Christmas tree website.

Morris says they are asking people to only take one tree per family and the tree must be for personal use, not to be resold.

Morris notes that it is important to make sure you are on crown land and not on private property when you’re cutting.
