Let it Snow, Let it Snow, Let it Snow!

Mother Nature is delivering some wet, snowy weather this week. Trevor Smith with Environment Canada says we’ve got some cold days ahead of us, with flurries throughout Monday.

Smith says arctic air flows are expected to come through Tuesday and Wednesday.

Smith says the big change will come on Thursday with the Pacific system flowing through the region.

He notes the warm moisture mixing with the cold arctic air could lead to snow on Vancouver Island and on the Sunshine Coast.

Smith says residents should keep a close eye on the forecast to make sure they’re prepared for the weather ahead.
