Ferries holding meeting on vessel replacement project

BC Ferries is holding community meetings in Alert Bay and Sointula tonight to talk about its new minor vessel replacement project.

Ferries spokesperson Darin Guenette says there are several minor vessels in the fleet that will need to be replaced in the next few years.

Guenette says Ferries would like to hear from passengers as to what you’d like to see in terms of design and amenities on board.

The Alert Bay meeting is taking place at the Community Hall from 6:30 to 8.

The Sointula meeting is at the FO Hall, starting at 7:15.

Those who cannot attend can also give feedback through the B-C Ferries website.
