Those interested in a career in aquaculture are being offered an opportunity to get ready for training.
Caitlin Hartnett with North Island College says the Aquaculture Pathway program provides upgrading courses to get students ready for training.
Hartnett says one of the priorities for NIC is to be able to provide upgrade programming so local students can sharpen their skills without having to travel away from home.
