With the start of a new year, BC’s Minister of State for Emergency Preparedness is urging people to make “build an emergency kit” a news year’s resolution.
Naomi Yamamoto says it’s also a good idea to create an emergency plan so everyone knows what to do, in the event of an emergency or disaster.
Yamamoto notes that guides and resources to help set up a kit and an emergency plan can be found online at PreparedBC.
