RCMP looking into possible milk tampering after recall

The RCMP has launched an investigation into possible tampering after a milk recall from a dairy facility on Vancouver Island.

Agropur issued a recall of one, two and four-litre jugs of milk that were sold under the brands Island Farms, Lucerne, and Natrel because of what officials are calling “harmful extraneous material”

Along with the tampering investigation, the Canadian Food Inspection Agency has launched a food safety investigation.

The affected products have a best before date of up to, and including, July 3rd and have the number 4415 next to the expiry date.
